An impromptu trip ended me up in Cabo San Lucas for a weekend get away. This is my first time in Cabo and it was beautiful! Staying at this beautiful hotel, The Cape, wasn't right downtown in the thick of the bars, people, and booze which was more than fine for me! Instead it spoils you with balcony swing beds, infinity pools, a private beach with amazing waves for you surfers, an awesome Mexican DJ for rooftop dancing, and the beautiful landscape view of El Arco off in the distance.

Upon arriving you are greeted by the amazing staff and a HUGE whale sculpture made out of driftwood. Ummmm can I keep it please!?

With lots of Cabo adventures awaiting and not a ton of time, I opted for one ocean and one land excursion. First was the glass bottom boat out to snorkel around lovers beach and then reward myself with a fresh mango cut like a flower complete with tajin spice and then I was off to see the arch.

The next day I went venturing in the outback through a cactus forest. I saw the oldest (and quite possibly largest) cactus, ate a home made Mexican meal (drooooooool) and rode a camel on the beach.... Who knew camels lived in Mexico!? Not me, but I fell in love with a retired circus camel named Lou and even got a few besos from him. That's normal, right?? The unknown adventures of Mexico are always a favorite. With so many options on awesome excursions, I'll be sure to come back!
